Dear David Thanks for the comments, Writing a technical journal is like writing a medical journal for surgeons, not very easy to get new information, but we are working on it. As for the articles, yes some you can find this information if you dig around, but we try to write it so that the common diver can read, learn, and enjoy the topics and not have to do all that digging. The graphics and text are designed for reader retention. The graphics, I design myself so you won't see them in any other Journal. If you look through any other magazine, I would bet that most of the information could be found elsewhere, if you have the time to search, dig, hunt, layout, design, etc.... I see the comments from the Internet crowd but what I don't see is any of these divers who must know everything there is to know about diving, logistics, decompression, gear, maintenance, bubble mechanics, exploration, new products, etc giving any attempt to provide the wanted information to the divers who are looking. All I see here are divers who want to know about diving being slammed by those who must know it all, something you won't get from me or my staff. DeepTech is a tech divers magazine, If you have any suggestions, ideas, comments, projects we will listen (to reasonable ideas) and do our best to provide the information. If you want to submit an article, photos, graphs, etc we encourage you to do so. I would think if you have time to comment then you would have time to participate. I also don't see any other magazine out there currently trying to provide this information. Of course you could start your own Journal if you have thousands of hours and a hundred thousand plus dollars to risk and many years of experience in layout and design. As for the Journal, I think we are doing a great job, along with the current thousand plus subscribers. Deeptech will continue to get better and bigger with time. (Rome was not built in a day). We will get the new information when it becomes available and we will provide it in a fashion so you can understand it. We will get out 4 issues a year, unlike the other tech journal. My dad always told me that you cant please everyone so I'm not going worry about those who for one reason or another, no matter how trivial don't like what I am publishing. Thanks Curt Bowen Co-Publisher DeepTech Journal EANx@AO*.CO*
