in hopes that someone on this list might be able to offer Jenny some assitence.

Subject: Tragedy
Dear Chris,
I am writing regarding the cave diving tragedy in Mexico near Tulum.
My mother was the American woman who died in Mexico August 17th just
10 days after her 54th birthday. I cannot express my grief over this.
I am on my own search for the facts about what happened. The letter I
read by Steven was informative to me. I am more and more angry about
what happened! My mother wasn't someone who would just dive into a
cave without a LOT of assurance. She knew Sheck Exley, in fact... It
would seem to me that Luis may have even said he could teach them to
cave dive, maybe even saying he could certify them...I don't know, but
I know my mom was interested in increasing her skills in order to cave
dive. She did dive with Sheck on a couple of occasions, but
obviously, it didn't prepare her for her last dive.
My mother is also survived by a 17 month old granddaughter. My
daughter might not remember her Grandma...if you know anyone who was
actually on the dive, I would appreciate it if you could connect me
with them. I really want to talk to someone who was there. If you
know of a way to connect with any of them...maybe Steven was there??
I wasn't sure where Steven got the information to write the letter
that he posted on Compuserve...
