How to stay tuned for diving during long surface intervals? Sure there is nothing better than diving to keep you in shape for diving, but off-season swimming, mountain biking, X-country skiing and running do help...both mental and physical conditioning. Up here where the season is a few months shorter than most other locales, unless you wanna ice dive wihich I don't, we take trips to FLA during the winter months but not enough to make much difference...is this a drag? Sure it is, but if you take it into account and ease back into the extreme stuff at the beginning of the regular season, it's manageable.Does it make us weenie divers...maybe, but the alternatives are: give up, steal daddy's cue, move south and make a living off of playing pool...now there's an idea. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internet: steve.lewis@pr*.or* (Steve Lewis) This message lovingly processed in beautiful Muskoka, Ontario, Canada by: PrimeTime BBS - (705)689-1757 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
