Hello Adrian, Hopefully the following information will be useful to you in your quest for information on the subject of technical diving. My favorite books are as follows: Deep Diving (revised edition), An advanced guide to physiology, procedures, and systems by Bret Gilliam with Robert Von Maier and John Crea. Mixed Gas Diving, the ultimate challenge for technical diving, by Tom Mount, Bret Gilliam, with Randy Bohrer, Dr. Larry "Harris" Taylor, Dr. Lee H. Somers, John Crea, & Richard Nordstrom. Both of these paperbacks are published by Watersport Publishing Inc., San Diego, Ca. Call 1-800-776-3483 to order. The Essentials of Deeper Sport Diving by John Lippmann. Published by Auqua Quest Publications, Inc., Locust Valley, N.Y. Call 1-800-933-8989 to order. I believe these books run approximately 20.00 dollars each. These are written by a few of the original "experts" in this field. One other book that I would also like to recommend is Solo Diving, The art of underwater self-sufficiency by Robert Von Maier. Also available from Watersport Publishing. Some outstanding principles involved no matter what kind of diving you do. These books are straight forward, interesting, and believe it or not, easy reading. Any questions about what you read, and I meany ANY questions that you have --- by all means direct them to techdiver@terra.net as well as other individuals in this gruop; and I am absolutely sure that everyone will be very glad to help you to develope your knowledge base of ordinary as well as technical diving.
