Why all of the convolution with light bulbs?
Why not just use the right bulb in the first place?
Why not use the right color temperature? What is with
the nickelrocketry? These (MR16) bulbs look like you are holding
a candle underwater. Get a 50W 2400 kelvin, highest lumens
you can find , and replace it every fifty hours. This will
set you back a solid $4.00. If you can't do this I suggest
you take up another sport where your life and your buddie's
life isn't being gambled for a few bucks. You need the
high intensity focused beam for proper signalling and to
know your buddy is there without stopping and looking. I
did a dive with a guy who had one of these on Saturday,
and I wore out the trigger on my scooter and got
whiplash from stopping and looking back, only to see
his pitiful MR16 light head right in my face. This is the
kind of BLANTANT STROKERY that pervades the diving
community. Do it right or quit doing it. - George
