Hi, I'm in the process of taking a wreck diving course (my first) and would appreciate some feedback regarding setting up my light and reel. Here is the scenario. I want to be able to hold both the light and the reel with one hand, leaving the other hand free. I have purchased a Reef Scuba reel and a UK SL-6 light. If I can attach the two together then this solves the problem of keeping one hand free. As it turns out I can't just tie them together with zip strips because the reel will be facing one way on entry and the other way on exit. What I'm currently thinking about doing is filling the groove in the reel's handle with wood (or another substance) and then putting a large strip of velcro on the light and the wood. This way I can pull the light free and reverse it but they will normally be attached. On the down side I don't know how well this would hold things together. If I drop the assembly will the two components go different directions? I don't know. Anyone have any comments on this configuration or sugestions for another one that will work better? I need to have this working by this weekend. Thanks, Eric
