I saw a good one today. I was out lobster diving on the Reef Cat and there was a group of techies with all of their Nemisis computers ,multi-swivelled reulators, double wings, ect. One of them told me he had to get his Nemesis positioned just right or it wouldn't read, which made me wonder why anyone would take something like that in the water at all. Well, we got into a gear discussion and in the process we discoered that these guys had a gas management scheme more squirley than their gear. One was a big guy, one was very small, and two normal. The little one had 102's, and the big one had 121's. They said that this was necessary because the little one used so much less air and the big one used so much more air . I said , "I hope you guys don't cave dive". They said they did, but it was OK because they turned on the little one's thirds. I started to try to explain, but realized I was talking to real "experts" fresh out of techie training. But what I would really like to know is who is the idiot that is teaching this crap? Somebody has got to get a grip on these agencies while diving is still legal. - George Irvine
