Subject: deep air for gas management and deco management?

   i'm curious,i hear that the deep air class is really to learn gas
managament,deco management,stress management,equipment management (stage
bottles),task loading,and emergency planning.doesn't all of that stuff get
taught in your every day basic old plain full cave class?i know it was in
mine,but then maybe i just had a superior instructor?if that is indeed what
the deep air class is about,then why in the world do you have to take them
to depths ranging from 160-220??????it makes absolutely no sense unless you
like the buzz and you can't wait to get back to your hotel to hit the
bong.so Brett,what's the real story?? - dick
