Hello All,
Since I just subscribed, I'll take the server-daemon's advice and intro-
duce myself.
I got certified (YMCA) in 1972, and got a PADI AOW in 1975. In 1978,
while a student in STX, USVI, I got a PADI "Research Diver" cert.
I did a lot of diving, mostly NJ wrecks or Shark River Inlet, until
1981, then, for many (bad) reasons, pretty much stopped until July
of 1992.
Since reentering the sport, I've been diving conservatively, getting
my skills back, and trying to design a clever signature for rec-scuba
postings. And return to some semblance of physical fitness.
I don't know at this point if I want to extend my diving past what are
generally thought of as *normal* sport diving limits, but even if I
don't, I'm sure a lot of the tips and techniques are useful at shallower
depths and shorter dives (hell, 60-120 feet is no place to get cavalier).
Unless something bad happens, I expect to do a LOT of diving in 1994.
