Before Alex sent his message out I was very impressed that so
many of the letters in the latest A/C had email addrs on them :)

My personal take on things is that postings on these lists should be
treated as "intended for private use only", or like papers that
say they can be freely copied for "educational purposes".

I think this is very much all that A/C (or any other publication)
need do. This also is the email that should most appropriately (IMO) sent
to A/C, not hatemail, just constructive criticism. If that doesn't work,
well, hopefully it will.
