I have to say I agree with John on this.  Whenever I post a message to
techdiver, I assume the entire world has access to my ramblings (and they
do via the archives), so I won't be concerned if the message gets
forwarded via other media (like magazines).  I can see a slight "beef"
with A/C if you look at it as they are making money for their publication,
part of their publication includes letters from people, therefore part of
the money they earn comes from "exploiting" the words of others.  In my
opinion, however, this is a bit of a stretch.

Nevertheless, I wrote Michael and suggested that he contact people prior
to reprinting their messages as a courtesy.
