Two different aspects to consider:
CNS clock "stuff"
OTU "stuff"
If I recall correctly, and I trust you will step in and correct me if I 
don't, the CNS stuff is not the major concern due to the comparitively 
short duration of the high exposure. It's those fun 40 minute stops at 20 
feet that are my main concern. I totally DON'T understand the mechanics 
of what's happening but it seems logical to me that if we are to prorate 
concern based on exposure then the shallow stops would be on the order of 
two magnitudes higher than that of the deep stops. I guess it's all a 
matter of relative safety? The ONLY way to be sure you aren't going to 
get bent is to NOT DIVE.
