My trimix rig is still wrapped in the cardboard after shipping home from
Tek95. I believe it is actually (literally) gathering dust!! ;-)

Both O2 and bailout trimix are up-side down. I put them that way strictly
for balance -- I can't reach the valves. I decided I don't need to reach
the valves -- the trimix is open, and if it free-flows, I just abort the
dive on my primary trimix. The O2 is closed, and in the rare event that I
need it, I can remove the rig underwater and turn it on. Keeping it off
is also useful to help avoid breathing it at huge depths.

The hoses are extra-long on both ponies. They trace the poines upward
(the hose for the bailout trimix fits nicely between the pony and
the doubles). The trimix 2nd stage (Odin) comes over my left shoulder and
is held to a D-ring on the harness with a snorkel-keeper. The O2 2nd stage
is affixed to the O2 bottle with surgical tubing (if I ever use it again,
I'll replace with bungee). If I need it, it comes over my right shoulder
(SP Mk-V, metal balanced adjustable 2nd stage).

Aloha,
Rich
