I have seen a picture in an old AGA catalouge. The picture show a set of
tanks at their gasblending facility. The tanks are in a fixtuer where
they are rolled axially (sp?) after filling. 

I have heard about a freind playing with an O2 analyser. He filled a bag
with O2 and to the bag he connected a tube wide enough to pass the 
sensor through. He could meassure a distinct change in %O2 when he gently
pushed the sensor into the tube.
