John, The CGA markings for an argon tank are brown with a black stripe if I remember correctly. DUI's and most others argon inflation sytems are so small that there is little room to put the black strip on the tank or the spec just calls for the neck and curved portion of the bottle to be brown ( I can't remember exactly, this spec. is also packed away). As I spec'ed DUI's sytem out, it is suppose to be painted with a brown neck and black letters "ARGON" horizontally on the cylindrical portion of the tank. My tanks have a skull-and-crossbones also to warn people that this is NOT A BREATHING MIXTURE. The DUI tanks also are/were available with the correct CGA fitting and corresponding regulator. Unfortunately most manufacturers do not pay attention to the details and this is such a small market that products cannot really be developed at a reasonable cost to support us tech divers. Respectfully, Jay
