Subject: Argon threads
In Sweden we have standard threads specified for air (DIN 477 K or L)
nobel gasses (argon, helium etc), and oxygene. As mentioned by someone
else the market for saltwater tolerant valves for other gasses than air
is small. Interspiro has an oxygen valve for their oxydive.
(probably nonmagnetic and priced for the military market)

Nitrox threads is a problem under discussion right now. My view is that
the oxygen thread shall be used for all non flameabel, non toxic gasmixies
with more than 23% O2. The Interspiro ACSC/DCSC Nitrox rebreathers has
a special thread that is nonstandard.

To make the problem worse I know that for oxygene alone there are three
different threads in europe.
