There is a reason why commercial companies spend the money on two way
comms and often mount lowlight high definition cameras on the diver's
head.  Ever heard the experession "dope on a rope"?  The supervisior
can see *more* than the diver, and can direct him (not him/her 99 times
out of 99.1) to perform even complex tasks.
