Hi All,
Steve asked me to expand on the mention of spots in long bone xrays, but
it seems that others have lept into the fray. One point in the other
replies refers to commercial diving vs recreational. There have been
several mentions in texts on recreational diving of dysbaricostieonecrosis
(is that how you spell it?) with the idea that while recreational divers
*can* get it, it tends to be something confined to the commercial world.
I mentioned in a previous post that my first commercial medical had shown
up spots, but I don't think I made it clear that this was *before* my
first commercial dive. At that time I had been diving recreationaly,
only breathing air (well, O2 deco) and none of my decos had exceeded 60
minutes. I'd never done any SurD nor had I ever been bent (that I had
noticed)

Cheers Jason :)
