techdiver List Server <techdiver-request@terra.net> said (Subject: Response from techdiver List Server):- > ... The Archive is best accessed using a Web browser. Check out: > http://www.terra.net/aquanaut/techdiver ... I tried twice to WWW http://www.terra.net/aquanaut/techdiver, and all I got was an error remark. GJLUNDY@HT*.NE* later kindly told me a route to Techdiver's WWW page, which I found was on http://www.terra.net/mlist/aquanaut/techdiver (notice the extra segment in its name). This archive seems to store the full unexpurgated version of every message's header. To keep within bounds (a) this archive's size and (b) the time used downloading each message every time someone wants one of them, how long would it take someone to write a small program that would go through the archive and remove all the Received: and X-***: and MIME-***: lines and such wordy email server drivel from the headers? Even removing the Received: lines alone would save very much store space!
