The American Red Cross has just added use of the bag-valve-mask (BVM) to the CPR/FPR (CPR for the Professional Rescuer Course.) Pretty interesting. CPR/FPR replaces the old BLS level qualification. It is one step above the standard course level (Community CPR, or Adult CPR + Infant & Child CPR.) CPR/FPR is intended for people who may be in a position where they are required to perform CPR etc. - such as a cop, a fire fighter, a lifeguard, a sports trainer, or per NAUI a rescue diver. Wrolf
