     Hmmmm, Tim, you have a thought there.  Whoopie cushions are typically 
     red (easy to see), small, easy to fold up, and could be attached to a 
     D ring with some rubber cement.  Plus, you'd have the fun of hearing 
     it deflate when you got back aboard the boat.

     PS, we've never discussed the application of  unfiltered methane gas 
     for drysuit inflation!

How about using a whoopee cushion?  Seems ridiculous, I know, but 
I think you could make one work in this application.
