Rick, I am a long time Great Lakes Wreck diver who has also been trained in Cave diving (1975). IMHO I think the Cave diving training is more than enough. I still suggest that you get with some serious Wreck divers and learn via experience. Most (not all) wreck diving course are about how to put you dive gear on the dive boat, how to make a entry, how to get back onto the dive boat, how to follow a anchor line down to the wreck, what you "might" find on the wreck (eg, Dead eyes, port holes ...etc.) Most (not all) technical divers are (or should be) beyond this point in diver education. BTW, Most of the so called wreck divers need to take a cave diving class so they can really learn how to dive a wreck. Gary McGee (GMcGee1@tc*.pt*.fo*.co*) Detroit, MI. USA
