Hopefully you don't include me in any of the above.

Did someone actually demand the rights to your project? Now
that's what I call commercial astuteness. Certainly I have
been very careful to specify "info from the net" in everything
I've written.

This seems a curious attitude for someone trying to gather
information. You don't even seem interested in convincing
us that this is a worthwhile project for us to contribute
to. The fact that you obviously upset a group of non-US
people would suggest that your experience/judgement of our
environment is rather limited.

BTW do you know about the book:

	The Darkness Beckons
	The History and Development of Cave Diving
	Martin Farr
	Diadem Books, 1991, 2nd ed.
	ISBN: 0-906371-87-2

It details the history and development of cave diving, primarily
in the UK, and details many sites in Europe, Australia, Africa
and America. It was first published about 1980 and contains the
type of information you are suggesting for your book and it has
maps of many of the cave systems. The updated version is pretty
good.
