Boy, it sure has been quiet on the techdiver front lately!
I received a resubscription notice from AquaCorps yesterday.
Apparently, they've slashed their subscription prices from $49 for 4
issues to $29 for 6 issues ($12.25 an issue down to $4.83). The offer
is good through the month of May.
I've been pretty critical of the AquaCorps because of the "pulp
factor" of the past two issues. Hopefully the editors have been
responsive to reader's comments, many of which appeared on TechDiver.
So, I guess I'll resubscribe, hope the magazine meets my needs, and
hope that they stay in business for another 6 issues!
By the way, I also subscribed to DeepTech, and enjoyed the first
issue. Hopefully Win and Curt will continue to develop the concept of
a new technical journal. Some of the articles could have been more
comprehensive, however they are really on the right track.
If AquaCorps gets it's act together (again) and if DeepTech evolves in
the direction that I think it will, then we will have some happy
reading ahead!
