Is the molecular weight of > Nitrogen and Oxygen that different where this is a concern? I am sure I am missing something here b= ut I > can=92t understand why I keep hearing the terms, Molecular migration and = Layerin > g. In my uderstanding & experience, this is a non-issue: there is no stratification when mixing O2 & N2 (unless, perhaps, if the fill rate is *REALLY* slow). There *CAN* be layerying/stratification when making heliox ('tho I haven't seen it happen in trimix yet). If anyone's interested, I can elaborate.=20 Be forwarned, however; it will require more than 250 words ;-) Aloha, Rich Richard Pyle deepreef@bi*.bi*.ha*.or* ******************************************************************* "WHATEVER happens to you when you willingly go underwater is COMPLETELY and ENTIRELY your own responsibility!
