Rich Pyle wrote a rather elopuent, albeit lengthy explanation of "technical
Diving" -- I won't re-submitt his efforts :-)

But I do think he is correct.  Tek is a big gray area.  It is eay to say it's
beyond the standard recreational diving, but how much beyond does it have to
be?

Is 150' on air with 02 deco Tek?
What about 200' with accelarated deco?
What about cave diving?
Does one have to be trimix cert?

There is no easy way to "Label" or catagorize technical diving.  Except the
typical oversimplification.  IE Basic Tek, Intermediate Tek & Advanced Tek.

Now....How about those labels for gray! <g>

Rich, don't put away the soap box, stand proud.....just keep it under 250
