	Watch yourself Jason :-)  - a lot of diving agencies have done
research, just, I guess, not the US ones. Here in Europe CMAS has been a
major distributor of information *to* govns concerning sport diving; and
BSAC at least of the CMAS affiliates has carried out original work on
decompression, and a great deal of monitoring of diving activities and
their consequences.

	Before there were proffesional SCUBA outfits and police type
units, there was BSAC; and they descended directly from the Navy. The
Navy might see it as a coattail ride, but we don't. Which makes it all
the more distressing that the organisation has chosen to let mix and
technical procedures get so far ahead of it...
