I, for one, always double check placement to ensure that I can reach all three valves behind my head. Mostly, to be able to cut off a regulator in case it begins to freeflow, and I cannot stop it. I keep the crossover opened only about single turn, so that it can be shut off quickly. Not that I am under any illusions about how much good it would do in case of an o-ring extrusion from the valve. IMHO. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Scot Anderson <scot@bt*.co*> http://www.btg.com/~scot/ BTG Corporation http://www.btg.com/ Voice: 703.761.6536 Fax: 703.761.6555
