We use the combat suit (TLS 350) for long dives. I use it for everything, as does my main dive partner. Some of our guys use the Harveys, but only one long dive was done, and both guys got cold. The guys who use Harveys say they like it better, but none of them have a custom fit TLS. One of my partner's jobs is to test all types of dry suits and thermal gear. He uses only the TLS. The problem is we have noone who has had a good version of both to compare, and the cost of a custom fit DUI suit is relatively enormous. All I know is that it is flexible, warm, dry, comfortable, self-donning, and their service and support is excellent. Contrary to popular belief, they are fast if they are a custom fit, even with C-4. I have never used a neopreme suit, but when you can do nine hours in Tallahassee with no trough and stay warm, why try anything else. One guy who owns and has tried them all is Jarrod at Ginnie Springs. He could tell you how to get your money's worth. - George Irvine
