After reading Greg Ryan's post on cave diving in Australia, I remembered I had promised to post the following letter from the Standards Director of the Cave Diving Association of Australia (CDAA). The CDAA controls much of the "diver oriented" cave diving in Australia which, as Greg pointed out is largely centered in the Mt. Gambier region and the Nullarbor plain area. This letter was written to a cave diver from the USA who wished to dive in Australia. It is useful information for any cave divers who might wish to cave dive in Australia, the main message being to contact the CDAA and make arrangement before arriving in Australia.
