Hi Tom-

>I have seen the pictures, they are quite incriminating.

Well, if it bothers you then do something about it jackass. I am tired of
all the whining from JT (and now you) on this for the past couple of years.
If he actually thought we had premeditated anything, he could have very
easily mentioned it then. The details of the story have been told. If you
don't like the truth (not JT's "truth"), tough.

BTW, just for future reference, recovery of USN property (such as portholes
from the OSTRFRIESLAND) is technically illegal. In that regard, there are
no obscure latitude/longitude boundaries to worry about.

>This whole feud between you and JT is hillarious.

You are correct.

>Starts out, he was a boat captain and you were a dive shop monkey.

Part-time dive shop monkey.

I am glad to see you are a discriminating consumer. When I first moved to
the area, I also checked out all the shops (well before DQ opened up). I
went into LDC and swore I would never step foot in there again. They had a
pretty bad reputation. The staff could have given two shits to get off
their ass and help a customer. I remember we were running in late on one
deep trip and we called ahead to see if LDC would stay open a bit longer for
gas fills, some parts, and other needs. Some whiny lady gave us all sort of
static. Harvey Storck even offered to *pay her* to stay there the extra
half-hour or whatever to get everything done. That is really great customer
service. He ended up calling DQ and they said they would be open and take
care of whatever they needed. Harvey called back and told that lady to piss
off. That was where I first really learned about DQ.
FWIW, since DQ has been opened, I have heard LDC's attitude and customer
service has gotten better, since they now have to actually work for their
money.

You are correct though, DQ does not really deal with the tech community, but
the recreational community, and it does not run GUE classes.

>As for any of the dives we have planned, stop trolling.

So you think hanging a decompression habitat in 30fsw in an open ocean is a
practical idea, or that a 50-minute bottom time is warranted? I would like
to hear your rationale for both concepts. Sorry Tom if people are
interested in actual diving topics here.

Cheers,
Mike
