I don't know if a 50 minute dive is really planned, but for some reason I feel like I should point out the obvious... Is there really an advantage to doing a 50 minute dive over two 25 minute dives? I only see added risk from incurring a ridiculously long decompression obligation with no apparant gains. If this dive is simply being done for bragging rights, I'd suggest re-examining your motivations. Diving isn't a competitive sport.
