To manufacture a manifold is not in its self a problem.  All items are
available from sources like SwageLoc or Parker.  But whom would assume the
liability is a good question.  The manufacturer of the valve or the person
that assembles the parts?  Perhaps both.  I look at it this way, the Company
that purchases the valves and assembles them, or in some cases the company
that manufactures a custom valve for a full face mask is going to get my
business.  Because they are paying for the liability insurance and hopefully
will be in business to do the necessary repairs on the system when in need of
maintenance.

The trend seems to be what can I get cheaper than retail.  Every one wants a
good deal.  My money is to be spent with the company that has done the
research and laid out the cash for R&D.  After all can you put a cost on you
life
