Hi,
=20
This is what I'm using as inside layer for my thinsulate undergarment =
<http://www.dupont.com/coolmax/> http://www.dupont.com/coolmax/ . =
Shouldnt be a problem to buy from DuPont in NZ.
For outer shell, you must be able to find thousands of usable materials =
around. Just take a look.
=20
The key to a working undergarment from such stiff material as =
thinsulate, is to have a good cut. Take a close look on cut of jackets =
used for climbing. Then know how to do it correctly. Even DUI could =
learn something.
=20
Best regards

Hey Guys,
I have orderd the 400G bolts of Thinsulate from 3M NZ , =
which take 3 months to arrive from the states.
=20
The actual patterns are also sorted as is the manufacturing process , =
but the other materials needed ;as in a quality waterproof/breathable =
exterior nylob shell and moisture wicking interior lining that wont =
allow thinsulate fibre migration are still being sourced...and proving =
difficult to find here.
=20
I could really do with some leads upon these other materials from anyone =
with any known manufacturers/suppliers I may try... if anyone has any =
clues I would be most appreciative? , as the local suppliers are so =
"backward' even the 3M rep had never seen 400g before and had to order =
min a sample especially ;-)
=20
These MTM suits will be a great price compared to DUI and far better =
quality of design/maunfacture.
=20
Anyone ever wondered why there wasnt a buttonhole pee valve hose opening =
integrated into them...? me too :-) no more =
half opened zips boys!=20
I am also working with an idea of velcro tabs or similar on the booties =
to stop the legs riding up upon donning the sui as the ankle elastic =
worn in the arch causes foot cramp in some people.
=20
=20
There will be quite a few modifications for diver comfort, ideas and =
feedback, as to what you (fellow divers) feel would improve the quality =
of your comfort is more than welcome...
=20
I have also been very focussed upon the Innerrealm 300 bar tank =
va/ve/manifold and Reg protectors I have designed. They are almost ready =
,having been delayed by the Machine shop.
They are VERY nice and I will advise as soon as I get pictures upon the =
site for you to take a look so I can take orders for supply.
