Now THAT creates a pretty interesting mental image.

Just for the record, I wasn't there and don't know anything about it. =
However, as we should all realize, we are all explorers as far as =
decompression goes. With the absence of a perfect decompression theory =
and the variation among individuals, it's not unusual that getting bent =
occasionally is a price we pay to do what we do. Sure, we can do the =
"weenie" deco and brag about never getting bent but that does nothing to =
add to our understanding of decompression. As much as the WKPP beat up =
on Stone's Wak2 project for killing Dr. Kendall* and oxtoxing one of =
their divers, there was relatively little said about the DCS incidents. =
It's simply part of the game. On the other hand, there is no other group =
that has done as much to advance the limits of decompression as GUE and =
the WKPP. There is no such thing as an "unearned hit"- we just may not =
know why it occurred.
C.

*I'm sure someone wants to argue this so when you reply, start off by =
telling me where his buddy was. If that's too tough you can explain how =
all the flashing lights and alarms alert you to an out-of-spec status =
before it becomes dangerous.
