Maybe you should read what I wrote again? ,----- [ I wrote ] | When discussing rebreather accidents, one must distinguish between two | types: | - The accident occurs as a direct/indirect consequence of the rebreather | in question | - The accident _might_ just as well have been on OC. `----- I still believe that the recent RB80 accident had nothing to do with the fact that they were on RB80s. OK, the task loading is greater but I would still not say that the RB80 is to blame for the accident. From what I gather, the neck seal was the main culprit. It stated the incident spiral. Neither of us knows of all accident on any breather, so it makes no sense discussing that (Cf Wittgenstein) There have been a number of deaths on the Inspiration. In most cases, we do not know what happened because the diver was solo. You are comparing Halcyon accidents with Inspiration deaths - apples and oranges! -- <greeting> Best regards </greeting> <author> Peter Fjelsten </author> <location> Ã…rhus C, Denmark </location> -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
