Of course they're academic, the figures describe academic requirements.  What's
your point?  I don't know how much effort is put into checking up on
falsified logs (ok, I do; not much), but again, what't the point?  That
people can lie about their experience?  Sure they can, but it's a self
limitting behaviour, you know, Darwinism in action ;).

That was also the point of my observation that you may want to tighten
up your training requirements.

Then you have an enforcement problem, not a training problem.
