You don't need the holes - it will work if you just lay an inner tube over the bladder. It must be cut all the way around on one side and cut to the shape of the bladder. -----Original Message----- From: Matthias Voss [mailto:mat.voss@t-*.de*] Sent: Monday, August 26, 2002 5:49 PM To: techdiver@aquanaut.com Cc: Techdiver@Aquanaut.Com Subject: wing + inner tube Having tried some wings ( except for the halcyon range), I have some criticism for most of them. Especially when turning from one side o the other, there are 2 things which botehr me. One is, when the gas is changing sides, a loud , annoying gargling appears, sometimes loud enough to scare away critters, or be otherwise unpleasant. The other is, gas sometimes does not want to shift sides, but keeps on sticking in one side, leaving me with a annoying dysbalance which must be fought against by some wriggling. I intend to insert a 12mm ID plastik tube with hole all over its length at the circumference, so gas can enter the "bus" and leave, distribute anywhere without being hindered by walls sticking close together. Anyone tried this before ? I know some dive so have but they belong to the league "I can tell you but will have to shoot you then".
