Hi Chris !

I think most of the new generation of divers started because diving
sounded
interesting and we heard from friends that it was fun.

I don't think this is a grave danger to tech diving as long as we keep a
high
level of education programs.
there will always be those that do stupid things but the majority of
divers wil

grow to be good divers.

and also remember that quantities bring a reduction in costs, my banker
will
shore be happy if that happens.

I'm not familiar with UK training or way that particular diver dived with
2
stages but at my part of the world we sum time dive shallow dives (30msw)
 with TriMix for training purposes.
when I started Deep Air I have done 4 dives to 30msw with 3 and 4 deco
stops only for deco regulations behavior and emergencies training.

I'll have to agree on that, I have seen a lot of new divers that think
basic OW
is all they
need to survive underwater.
this is certainly not the case in tech diving.

c u soon.
