Hello All: As you may be aware, the Technical Diving Confernce TEK 94 will be held January 9-12, 1994 in New Orleans LA, USA. They expect some 5000 people at the conference, including a large number of notables such as Lad Handelman, Jim Baden, Phil Nuytten, Bill Hamilton, Lamar Hires, Sheck Exley, Steve Linton, and Mike Menduno the publisher of AquaCorps. During the conference, we will be going online with an IRC link for a few hours each day at various but scheduled times so that people all over the world can participate. We will be featuring a guest speaker during the sessions. In addition, we will be setting up a special TEK 94 mail address so that you will be able to send e-mail to people at the conference, which will then be delivered and possibly replied to by that person. That address will be tek94@de*.co* and should become active around January 5, 1994. If you are wanting to send it to a particular person, please put their name in the subject area. Since the Conference concerns The Emerging Dive Technologies, it was felt that a this would be an excellent opportunity to link people and to demonstrate the power of networking. I am particularly interested in hearing from non USA folks on when good times to schedule would be for them and also get an idea of how many folks have IRC available?
