Yes, me too. The media had the wrong info. Looks like there was a warm air
shaft and that these guys were not in water, and that the hydrostatic head
pressurizing the area was only about 30 feet, not 300. JJ is staying here at
my house, so I can ask him what he was told when they called him. My guess
is that they just looked at every trick in the books just in case.

Okay, so I'm a lurker here but I've been following the events of the
trapped
miners in Pennsylvania. From what I have read, it sounds like they are
trapped in an air pocket in a flooded tunnel. No mention that the
passageway is impassible because of debries, just flooded.
Sounds like it is a made to order rescue for the WKPP guys since they
seem
to have the most experience in deep underwater cave penetration.
Just a thought....
