Michal, there are links to their web sites on the GavinScooters.com web
page, and probably on the WKPP.org web page. I will check with Pina if that
is not the case. Just click on any mention of Michael and Reinhard and that
should go to the right websites. Here is one to start with :

George,

I have never heard about WKPP Europe. I would like to know more about it.
Where
they are located? What are they goals? Could I find something on the web?

Thanks in advance,
regards,

Michal

P.S.: Just to remind that I'm on the list only few weeks. I have tried the
archive, but unsuccessfully.

Art, WKPP members have been doing dives in various places outside of the
Woodville Karst Plain for practice while we wait for out conditions to
improve enough to explore. Jarrod , Casey and I are of the mindset that we
do not want to expose ourselves or the team to the risk of large scale
operations where serious objectives are not going to be achieved. In other
words, we do not want to risk killing anyone for nothing.

On the other hand, Jarrod, Casey and I have been diving together , working
out some logistics for the more difficult sites that we dive where we have
no escape from in-water deco and are in the cave all the way until the very
last stop which is still in water, and yes, we have been adding line and
extending Leon Sinks Cave System, but we are not talking about it due to the
constant efforts by the "community" to interfere, and due to the fact that
we are using only our top pros.

We will run the more visible dives at Wakulla some time soon, as we do have
leads to explore , but they start at 17,000 feet of penetration, so again
the three of us do not want to take the physical beating and risk the team
unless the water is for sure clear enough to get something done back there
and not just bounce off of the walls.

We have done some very serious dives lately, but do not want to discuss them
at the moment. We also have been working on lights, scooters, rebreathers
etc with an eye towards more effective exploration tools. Reinhard and
Michael are doing all the same as they prepare WKPP Europe for an assault on
their own record with the team they have been building. The two wings of the
organization now are more focused on fine tuning the tricks as we can
clearly see that the bar is about to be raised in the systems we are diving.
In Europe, the water is colder and the caves are more up and down. Here, the
caves are just ridiculously deep and we have no prospects of finding
sinkholes for miles in front of us. In both cases, how we handle these
challenges will define this sport for years to come.

In the meantime, Pina and I have been doing our regular after work dives
here and have been diving as much as possible whenever Jarrod and I are not
diving.

Why not post on what the WKPP has been doing? Are the springs clear? Have
you extended any of your leads?
