No, I haven't missed the point. Compare your recent contributions to this list with the ones George and others have made over the years. Have a look at the WKPP website that George, Pina and others have created. One of the problems of these types of lists is the amount of internet divers, yappers, tryhards and pontificating know-it-alls. I would quite simply like to listen to the people with the experience and track record, and not the peanut gallery who contribute nothing of substance. If George and Pina choose to dive with strokes , then I will assume that they have a reason for doing so. Perhaps they will tell you if you are that interested. No, I don't think they are the gods of diving. But they have contributed far more to tech diving than most of the other people on this list. If all you can contribute is when Pina dives solo, or George dives with a stroke, then please spare me (and others)the details.
