Mike, JT is right about FL cave divers - most of these guys are a disgrace and an embarrassment to the rest of us. However, if JT thinks that any of your people or any of mine would have any problem with any dive up there, he needs to think again. The fact is that cold is not an issue for any us , vis is hardly an issue after what we deal with in the caves, and the techniques and procedures we have developed are even more important for NE conditions than they are for ours. As you know, from being on the trip with me, Pina, JJ , Kane et al with JT Barker, all we needed besides a good rabbit's foot was a pair of gloves. Despite JT's constant resentment of us , his recognition now of what we have been saying about the Seeker and the Christina Young crowd is impressive. I am especially glad to see that , despite his continuing willingness to break Rule Number one with Christina, and his continuous effort to try to teach pigs to sing, he at leasts lays down the law so as to limit the degree of some of the stupidity, and his understanding of the real issues is getting very clear. Of course, you and I are "Nazis" since we like to eliminate the bullshit before we even leave the dock. -----Original Message----- From: Rodriguez [mailto:mikey@ma*.ne*] Sent: Thursday, July 18, 2002 1:08 AM To: christi5@ix*.ne*.co*; techdiver@aquanaut.com Subject: RE: FW: Survey of NE DiveBoats re: GUE acceptance.
