While I think it unwise to dive without a FFM without umbilical, the Aga mask is made to work with quick connects. The German Navy uses it together with Draeger metal to metal quick connects. These do not have checkvalves, so to change, you have to close the bottles. There are others, like swagelok's, Draegers with check valves.... Remember when switching by quick connects at depth, you get an amount of water into the system, which may lead to snd stage freezing.
