I hold a 1600 ton Ocean Masters license and am quite aware of medi-vac
proceedures. I realize that they would like if possible for me to take the
seas 30* off my bow, like. If I have no problems with that, I'll do it, I
have however had tenders medivaced off my boat without me leaving location, I
tell them I have divers (I work commercial dive boats) down and can't leave
location, I'm the Captain, I'm responsable for all the people on and under my
vessel. They don't seem to have a problem with this and still manage to get
the man off. One thing that was brought up was that the Seeker had a boat on
deck that they didn't bother to launch and leave with personelle and a radio
at the dive site, I find this inappropriate to say the least.

I can only explain the true facts of experience and from the CG, leaving
divers in the water is a standard FL thing on drift dives is it not....
