I have been using a Cyklon 300 reg on stage bottles for about 3 months now with no problems - it is on loan, I must get round to giving it back :-). I've used it on both shore and boat dives. However, my opinion may change after the Winter if I hang on (groan) to it. Other divers in the club have been using them for a while and I've seen a few free flow problems. Last Winter at least one became unusable when the 1st stage froze after a free flow. The temp was around 3oC (37oF) at the time. The servicing is expensive but I don't know how expensive. The guy who loaned it to me is a commercial diver, has a copy of the service manual and gets the service kits through his business. I can't comment on the price in the US but the price isn't too bad in Uk terms. I would definitely consider it. As you said, the position of the purge button and the fact that there is no right-way-up are ideal for stage bottles. Alan
