Thank you ALL for the response and I certainly appreciate the advice! I am surprised buy the number of questions and will answer a couple of quick questions. 1. The scooter is in Hawaii thus is used in saltwater almost daily and even used as a demo. 2. The scooter was flooded several months ago - operator error and it sat for several hours IN salt water.. it was cleaned and put back into service. 3. THE SCOOTER WAS DROPPED.. IT hit something so hard it bend the motor casing bolts and maybe helped break some of the magnets. 4. George is a great guy! He gave the guys in Hawaii instructions on how to fix this. 5. I have NO worries about calling him. 6. The guys in Hawaii already bought a tail section to replace this from GI. 7. They want the can to replace some broken (as in many pieces) magnets. If someone has a dead scooter and only wants a few bucks for the casing that would be good. In a nutshell these scooters have been super, as has GI's service!!! George is actually going to Hawaii in a day or two to get these guys up to speed on scooter repair! Maybe Garry can post a report after the visit! Thank you ALL for your time!
