I have a transpac and I like it. The transpac has allowed me to cut down on the equipment I need to carry when I'm traveling. I used to carry a backplate/harness for my doubles, another setup for my single tank dives, and another setup for my sidemount gear. Now I just carry it. Makes my life alot easier, especially when your concerned about weight and bulk.
