I live along the Gulf Coast in S.E. Texas, and the news has shown clips of
government agencies visiting dive shops to alert instructors on possible
threats.  Most of the visitation has been done by U.S.C.G, and is not
surprising considering the number of not only bridges in this area, but also
the vast amount of oil rigs out in the Gulf of Mexico that are easily
accessible by any number of 21' center console boats.  I dont think I need to
explain the economic or the environmental impact a target like this could have.
Believe me guys, ALOT of people go out to these rigs spearfishing after just
taking a basic OW class, so don't think that a simple PADI OW student couldnt
cause harm...
